Jean-Michel Bigarré - CEO / President

Jean-Michel Bigarré is the founder of ETOPS Aviation Services and hold 20+ years of experience in the set-up and management of airlines and training centers.

In 1998, Jean-Michel became ATR Head of Training for the French Aviation Authorities (DGAC). For 2 years he was Head of Training as well as Flight Crew Director.

In 2001, Jean-Michel was appointed ATR Vice President Training and Flight Operations until he created ETOPS.

To maintain a high level of understanding in operational concerns, Jean-Michel is still acting as a flight instructor and examiner on Airbus and ATR.

Jean-Michel is still actively involved in ICAO or EASA working groups regarding simulators, training and flight operations regulations.

Jean-Michel graduated from Air France with a major in aircraft maintenance.

 

Pascal Foncelle - Flight Operations and Training Director

Pascal Foncelle was appointed Flight Operations and Training Director of ETOPS.

Following the first few years when he was Flight Instructor on Light Aircraft and Gliders in flying clubs and FTO's, Pascal spent 17 years at former French regional airline, Air Littoral.

Before joining ETOPS, Pascal spent seven years at ESMA Aviation Academy where he held various positions in training and management; he also contributed to the international development of the school.

Pascal holds an Air Transport Pilot License and is a Type Rating Examiner and Instructor (TRE/TRI) for the A320. He is also a member of the Board of Civil Aviation Crew Professionals “Conseil du personnel navigant professionnel de l’aéronautique civile” which he joined in 2003.

 

Barry Gaines - Simulator and Facilities Support

Barry Gaines was appointed ETOPS Support Services Director to manage the support teams.

Barry brings 30+ years of experience in simulation and aircraft maintenance; he started his career as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK Royal Air Force (RAF) where he maintained various aircraft such as the Lockheed Tristar and Vickers VC10 transports.

Before joining ETOPS, Barry was Head of Product Support at Thales Training & Simulation.

Barry graduated from the RAF as Aeronautical Engineer.

 

Mimoun Meddah - Maintenance Operations

Mimoun joined ETOPS as Training and Operations Maintenance Director with 15+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance and operations.

Before joining ETOPS, Mimoun held various engineering and managing positions at Airbus, Air Gabon, ALTO and EAS Industries.

In addition, Mimoun is an instructor for A320, A330 and A340 aircraft families.

Mimoun graduated in Electrical Engineering.

 

Anne-Lise Ricard - Quality and Safety Management

Anne-Lise was appointed ETOPS Quality and Safety Director.

Anne-Lise records 10+ years of experience working as a QMS and SMS expert for airlines and MROs.

Before joining ETOPS, Anne-Lise was Quality Director for Air Caraïbes Atlantique, Air Littoral and Air Littoral Industries.

Anne-Lise is a certified IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) Auditor.


Anne-Lise graduated from ESTACA as an aeronautical engineer.

 

Nassima Hamza - Project Manager International Training Development

Nassima Hamza was appointed Project Manager International Training Development at ETOPS.

With thorough expertise in aviation training and fluent in Arabic, Nassima has been given the mandate to monitor, supervise and implement operations services and training projects in the Middle East amongst other places.

Before joining ETOPS, Nassima was Business Development Manager at Thales Training and Simulation.

Nassima holds a Master in Business Administration from the Ecole Supérieure des Affaires of Lille II.

Nassima also holds a frozen ATPL and a Certificate of Flight Instructor.
